I bought the Kong stuffed lamb a week ago for my dog after reading clear reviews and claims that it was lasting and value buying. Local Couple Wins 'The Amazing Race'

BOSTON (CBS) Local couple Jason Case and Amy Diaz are $1 million richer having won the CBS reality show The Amazing Race.

Case, 33, of Attleboro, the owner of a snowplow company, and his girlfriend Amy Diaz, 29, of Providence, Rhode Island, a social media manager, were named the winners during Sunday nights two-hour finale in Alaska.

The couple competed against 10 other couples that included a pair of former NFL teammates Chester Pitts and Ephraim Salaam, a set of baseball wives married to Chris Getz and David DeJesus, married emergency room doctors, best friends, and NHL ice girls.

Case and Diaz told WBZ NewsRadio 1030s Jeff Brown, they applied for the show after having only known each other 30 days.

The Amazing Race is an around-the-world race during which couples must perform challenges and make it to a pit stop before the others. The last team to arrive, is eliminated.

During the most recent season, Case and Diaz were challenged to eat snake meat in Indonesia, compete in Formula One Racing in Abu Dhabi and build a robot in Japan.

The first hour of Sunday nights finale took place in Tokyo, Japan. Case and Diaz were among the top three teams to arrive at the pit stop and thus secured a spot in the finale in Juneau, Alaska.

For the final challenge, Case and Diaz were asked to spell out each currency they had used during the race, using totem poles. The couple completed the challenge quickly and made it to the final pit stop first.

The couple had six second place finishes leading up to the finale.

Before the show started, both Case and Diaz, who have been together for a year and a half, said they wanted to do The Amazing Race together to see if their relationship would endure.

Going through this race and finishing on top and learning a lot from each other, Im so grateful for the experience, Diaz said after they won.

Case said the race made him feel more fortunate about where he comes from having seen poverty and unstable situations around the world.

This couldnt have happened at a better time for us. It has made me fall so much more in love with her, Case said.
