I used this all over my household, furniture, beds, pillows, rugs, etc. My daughter's allergy induced eczema is finally clearing up after single a week! I started having issues too and the allergist did some tests and determined my most terrible allergies were to shape and dust mites. I think this is choice, my dog seems to be scratching less and she has tested clear for dust-mite allergies and in view of the fact that I don't want her to have to take drugs like benadryl and such, I searched out natural alternatives. I would urge this if you are having dust mite issues

I have used this product on carpets to retard the advance of dust mites, to which I am allergic. It seems to work, but is a bit pricey. The ingredient is closely related to borax, so now I just buy the 20 Mule Team product at the grocer.
