I got this in order to start brushing my 41/2 month old puppy's teeth. I've never brushed any of my former dogs teeth so I can not compare to other toothbrushes or pastes.The tooth brush is great. My puppy is a little over 20 pounds and I use the smaller side(I thought I would use the bigger) so if you have a tiny dog even the smaller side might be too big. And the larger side is probably big enough for a fairly large dog. The finger brush I think is fairly useless, I thought it would be the most easy to maneuver but it creates a very large thing to fit into your dogs mouth without very much actual brush on it. And it kept sliding so the brush would not be on the front of my finger. I used it first then quickly changed to the normal brush. All these pacts come with finger brushes though so I dont think you are paying any extra for it.My dog honestly doesn't seem to thrilled about the toothpaste, and again I have not used any other toothpaste to compare it too. He doesn't dislike it but he doesn't absolutely love it or act like I gave him a treat like some other reviews(on the page for just the toothpaste or other products) said. I haven't used it long enough to tell how well it works in cleaning his teeth, plus his new adult teeth which I am mainly cleaning are already gleaming white from just being new. It does smell kinda funny kinda like meat (chicken?) and mint together and I can't say I particularly like the smell though its better then normal dog breath I suppose..(most toothpastes I see are meat flavored though and I doubt many smell good, I was hoping to find a peanut butter flavored one or something else dogs like that actually smells nice :[)-->Overall I gave it a four out of five. It's cheaper then the similar starter packets(I also think the green is prettier then Petrodex's red toothbrush though thats just taste) the toothbrush is good quality and I like the two sizes(especially if you have a puppy who will get large you don't call for to buy another brush as s/he gets older) and my dog likes the toothpaste perfectly well though does not love it. He does seem to prefer when I use it compared to when I don't. For the price I think it is a good product.I am happy with my purchase and will continue using the Toothbrush but will probably try other toothpastes when this runs out

The toothbrush works well.My dog HATED the toothpaste. As soon as it touched his mouth, he jumped up and ran gone. He wouldn't come near me again for 10 minutes. Thankfully, I also got a tube of Petrodex Enzymatic Toothpaste Dog Poultry Flavor, 6.2-Small amount, which he was fine with.
